Brooks Taliaferro Atwood
Co-founder and Principal - NYC office
Brooks holds two advanced degrees in Architecture and Design. He received his Bachelor of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology where he graduated valedictorian of his class. Brooks studied for a year in Paris at the L'ecole de L'Architecture Paris La Seine before returning to Chicago. He received his Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design in 2003 from Columbia University GSAPP. He is also an adjunct professor of Architecture at the New Jersey Institute of Technology School of Architecture. During his studies, Brooks received a certificate of merit and The Scholastic Award from The American Institute of Architects for his Excellence in the study of Architecture.

Before forming POD DESIGN+MEDIA LLC he worked with such renowned architects as Gordon Kipping of GTECTS, Winka Dubbeldam of Archi-tectonics and Paul Florian of Florian Architects.

He likes to ask "Why aren't you doing it now?" and "what is a kitchen?" as well as "where's the diagram of that". Currently his dreams entail becoming a rock star or the next John Travolta circa Saturday Night Fever. Disco baby!.

Clay Odom
Co-founder and Principal - TX office
Clay holds two advanced degrees in Architecture and Design. He received his Master of Architecture at Texas Tech University. He received his Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University GSAPP. He was an adjunct professor of Architecture at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and currently teaches Architecture and Drawing at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Before forming POD DESIGN+MEDIA LLC he worked with such renowned architects as Studio Sofield, SHoP Architects, KDLab and Curtis Group Architects.

Clay loves to say "sissy; get into the truck" and other obscure movie references. Especially "put a trash can..." and "do the monkey dance". Clay enjoys hot temperatures in the summer and thinking about going to the beach.

Maria del Mar Granados
Co-founder and Collaborator
Mar holds several advanced degrees in Architecture and Design. She studied at Escuela Tecnica Superior De Arquitectura de Madrid where she received her diploma. She then moved to Chicago and received her Bachelor of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology. She received her Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University GSAPP. Maria is a licensed architect in Europe.

Mar has worked with such renowned architects as Carlos Zapata.

Mar is obsessed with movies and ice cream. She is considered by most to be the next ‘e’spiritual leader of POD while job haunting and tries to avoid the sun. Her favorite thing to do in the world is karaoke and you can catch her on Monday nights where she gets her 'rock on' at Arlene's Grocery where it's karaoke with a live band.

Anda French
Chief Designer - NYC office
Anda holds a Master of Architecture from Princeton University, where she studied under a Princeton University Fellowship and was the recipient of the Alpha Rho Chi Medal. She received her Bachelor of Arts, with Distinction in Architecture, from Barnard College, Columbia University, and was awarded the Josephine Paddock Fellowship for Graduate Study, the college’s highest award for study in the arts. She is currently an adjunct professor of architecture at the New Jersey Institute of Technology School of Architecture.

Prior to working with POD DESIGN+MEDIA LLC, Anda worked directly with J. Robert Hillier at RMJM Hillier Architecture and at William Rawn Associates in Boston.

Anda’s chief concern in daily practice is that the space/time continuum does not collapse in on itself. This concern roughly translates to an eight-cups-of-tea-a-day habit. Her chief goal in life is to dance on all seven continents – which she will do as soon as she determines how to do this without disrupting the eight-cups-of-tea-a-day habit.

Cynthia Montalvan
Summer Intern-2007
Cynthia is a unique designer who likes to use macaroni as an essential building material. She likes to take long walks along the beach while singing latino pop songs. Cynthia believes that food is essential for life and that water is the most powerful of all things.

Anirudh "Rich" Dhawan
Winter-2008, Summer Intern-2007
Rich has a way with words and stays up late dreaming of new ways not to trip and fall. He is always looking for excuses to going to the dentist to get root canals and likes butterflies and fireflies. He drinks more iced coffee's than the entire office and thinks recycling is the 'bomb'.

Steven thinks he's an animal and likes to climb trees and play in the rain. He is constantly asking questions about the universe and likes to take baths in carrot juice.
